About Night Watch Security Files
Welcome to Night Watch Security Files - a collection of stories from behind the security uniform.
Working security can look pretty simple from the outside. You walk around, check doors, monitor cameras, write reports and make sure everything stays under control.
But anyone who has actually worked in security knows the reality can be very different.
One shift can be completely quiet. The next can turn into a confrontation, an emergency, a strange encounter or a situation you never expected to find yourself in.
Night Watch Security Files is where those stories are collected.
These are stories from real shifts, written from the perspective of someone who was actually there. From quiet nights where nothing happens to incidents that suddenly turn the entire shift upside down.
Some stories are funny.
Some are strange.
Some are tense.
And some make you wonder how the hell a normal shift ended up like that.
Every story becomes a Security File - an incident, encounter or moment from the job, documented and retold as part of the bigger story.
The names, locations and identifying details are all changed to protect privacy. The situations, however, come from experiences on the job.
So welcome behind the scenes.
The uniform is on. The radio is charged. The shift has started.
You never really know what is going to happen next.
